Solution for centralized management of fluid consumption at the National Museum of Natural History.

As part of improving the management of its energy consumption, MNHN wishes to set up an automatic data collection system for controlling energy and fluids.

Goals

 

MNHN wants results concerning:

  • Establishment of a centralized system for recording and operating counting data on the Jardin des Plantes, the Institute of Human Paleontology and the Arboretum de Chèvreloup sites.

  • The energies taken into account are gas, district heating, water and electricity.

  • Remote reading and concentration of consumption.

  • Multi fluid, deployment by cable with Modbus and Pulse (Water) communication protocol.

  • Reduce energy consumption by up to 20% and thus reduce the equivalent in CO2 emissions by up to 10%.

  •  

  • Increase the overall efficiency of buildings in terms of electricity, gas and water consumption.

  • Promote advice and actions to adopt.

  • Provide information on the environmental and economic impact.

The realization by MNHN and TM Facility for:

  • Supply of the necessary equipment, installation of concentrators, settings and commissioning.

  • Wiring of meters.

  • Quality and calibration of count data.

  • Control sheets to be completed.

  • Agreement of water suppliers for metering.

  • Power supply for concentrators and supply of RJ45 sockets connected to the IP network.

  • Validation of data feedback and validation of dashboards with customizable indicators.

MNHN uses the Energy Land solution to perform on all 3 sites with more than 500 metering points:

  • Garden plants,

  • The Institute of Human Paleontology,

  • The Chèvreloup arboretum.

  • The energies taken into account are gas, district heating, water and water from the Seine (to water the gardens) and electricity.

Then, the data is integrated into the Energy Land server to perform energy monitoring with multi KPI configurable indicators.
